NFC title Cowboys vs. Lions: Game of the Week
The Cowboys have beaten the Lions three times in the last four years and are coming off the most dominant performance in franchise history in a 41-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
But the game is also a matchup of two of the NFL’s most dangerous teams: the Carolina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys.
The Panthers are coming to town with their franchise quarterback and a dominant defensive front seven.
And the Cowboys have won five of the past six games in this series.
So, how will the Cowboys do against this pack of NFL’s top pass rushers?
Let’s take a look at the matchups and see if the Cowboys are the favorites to win this game.
NFC West: Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks NFC West matchup: Atlanta vs. Seattle, 1 p.m.
ET Sunday CBS This game features two NFC West teams.
The Falcons are coming into the game in their best position since 2011 when they were the best team in the NFC East.
Atlanta is coming off its best defensive performance of the season and is tied for first in the league in sacks.
They are also the only team in NFL history to rush for over 100 yards in a game twice.
However, Seattle’s defense is a mess right now.
The Seahawks are allowing 1,400 yards per game and have allowed 20 or more points in eight of their last 10 games.
Seattle also has allowed seven touchdowns to the Falcons in that span.
That is the second-most such performances in the NFL this season.
Atlanta, meanwhile, is a team in transition.
The Hawks have lost three straight and four of their past five.
However the Falcons are still coming off a playoff berth last season.
They will be looking to regain some momentum after a strong win over Seattle last week.
