Nintendo confirms ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, but details are limited
IGN The Nintendo Switch was announced in March and has been a mainstay of Nintendo’s handheld line up ever since.
It’s been the platform that’s consistently the company’s most popular, but the console has also been a slow and steady slide over the past few years.
The Switch’s release date remains unclear, but according to a new report, the console will be launching on July 24.
The company has confirmed that the console is indeed coming to consoles and PC but that it will be an exclusive title.
According to a post on NeoGAF, Nintendo will launch the console in “early 2018.”
The company declined to share specifics on the price point, but said that the price will be $399.
The price of the Switch is expected to be announced later this year.
The hardware itself will be based on the Nintendo 3DS family, which was released in November of last year.
It will be available in three sizes, and the system will feature a 10-inch display.
A wireless charging port will be included with the Switch, but will also be available separately.
The console will feature Nintendo’s first-party Nintendo Switch games, but it is unclear how many titles are included in the package.
Nintendo has also not announced any new hardware for the console yet.
