When is the Saints Game?
Posted April 08, 2020 06:16:59The Chicago Bears have a chance to clinch the NFC South title, but they may have to settle for a home-and-home series with the New Orleans Saints, as they look to close out the season on a sour note with their last game of the regular season.
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the Bears will host the Saints at Soldier Field on Sunday.
The game is the team’s last opportunity to clinch home-field advantage with a victory.
The Saints host the Detroit Lions in Week 17, which will be the team to beat in the division.
The Bears are coming off a 4-12 season that ended with a division title, while the Saints have been a team that has been among the best in the league in many different facets, but have been unable to consistently deliver the kind of performances that many fans would like to see from their team.
The Bears have been struggling for much of the season, with injuries and inconsistent play on offense putting a strain on their offense.
They have a bye in Week 10, but will likely play the Lions on Sunday in a potential blowout, something that the Saints can easily capitalize on.
This is the second game between the two teams this season.
The first meeting between the teams came on Sept. 25 when the Bears took down the Saints in a 13-6 victory.
On Sunday, the teams are expected to be outmatched and the game will be played in Chicago.
